Chanced upon this place whilst looking for somewhere to sit down, eat and appreciate the view and the sunshine! The roof terrace is great and there was a decent live band doing covers whilst we were there which added to the atmosphere. We tried the small plates which were very tasty. There is a small bar with limited choice but we had the option to walk up to the main bar if we wanted something different. We could happily have stayed there all evening but we were only down for the day. Perhaps we'll stay overnight next time!

Absolutely delicious! My mum had the bao buns with chips, other half had chicken burger and i had the chicken, pesto and mozzerella foccacia. Everything was beautifully presented and made to perfection. Other half loves a chicken burger and said its one of the best hes ever had which is big praise. Lovely views of course as well. Thank you

Had nearly a week of really mediocre cheap and cheerful food in Brean So on our last day we ventured into weston super mare after a google search of nice places to eat. The Captains Cabin Bar & Restaurant came up so we decided to head for it. So what can I say about the Captains Cabin Bar & Restaurant.......... Simply...... what a find!! Really close to the old edwardian pier, and far enough away from the thromb of the main promenade. The food was the best we'd had all week!! We ordered the 10oz steak ( cooked to perfection) and the belly pork (ditto!) and both were absolutely delicious!! Along with the gorgeous house red we washed it down with. Add to the fact that we ate on a lovely sun terrace overlooking the old Anchor head and harbour. All the staff were really attentive and couldn't do enough for you. Simply put, a gorgeous meal, at a very reasonable price in an off the beaten track location. Would definitely highly recommend.

It's such a lovely welcoming pub! We have been for Sunday lunch twice this year already as it's so beautiful. We sat in the bar area next to the log fire, which was cosy. Dogs allowed in this area, too, which is great after a long walk along the seafront.

Great pub overlooking the sea with an outdoor bar and music. Sunday lunch looked amazing but had sold out so went for the ultimate ploughman’s sharing platter which didn’t disappoint AMAZING. Must visit bar if in the area
